Daily Grind

Last week was spring break so that meant that I didn't have work. Yea!!! I was able to spend some quality time with my sister who recently moved back to Utah from Georgia. At the end of the three day period we had several baby clothes purchases, several scrapbook cards made and a trip to the scrapbook expo where exactly $100.00 dollars was spent which was my limit given to me by Justin. I know you are thinking what are all those baby clothes for but really Justin and I have 8 people we know that are pregnant between work and friends. This epidemic must stop. I do have to say though that I was hoping more of you would announce you were having girls because I may have bought more girl clothes. This week I have endured going back to work and Justin is anticipating his final week of classes. It will be nice to actually see my husband again before bedtime. I know that nothing much exciting has happened but I hope that soon Justin and I will be starting summer festivities and I will have more to write about.

Protection

We have been getting a lot of unknown writers to this blog and they seem to be giving us viruses. So in order to help stop this we are going to protect our blog. If you would like to continue viewing this blog then please send me your e-mail address via an e-mail. This way if your e-mail address is not in our list of okays then you can not view the blog. I have most of you but we do not have a few. So just to be safe everyone please send me an e-mail. If you do not have our e-mail then please call and we will give it to you. I know this is going to make it a little more difficult to view the blog, but we need to do it. Thanks for your patience.

Guns and Fire

Two of my husbands favorite things as well as his friends are guns and big fires. Each winter we anxiously await for warmer weather so that we can have the first bonfire of the season. This occured Saturday the 12th. We started off the night with shooting, food and ended with very large flames and some good music. The coolest part of the night was when we burned some electrical wire the flames turned yellow, purple, blue and green. We had a great time and are looking forward to the next bonfire.

Conference Weekend

I just wanted to say how grateful I am for the chance that we had to hear the words of our prophet, his counselors and the seventy. I felt sad at not seeing President Hinckley but was honored to be able to stand saturday morning and sustain President Monson. Overall it was an uplifting weekend. I especially liked Elder Ballards talk on mothers and women. I hope all of you men were taking notes. I was also grateful to be able to spend time with Julee and her husband Matt. I am always amazed at how easily conversation comes with my childhood friends. It is like we saw each other just the other day when it has been over a year. I have to say that I am grateful for my friends and there support. Justin and I have been blessed to have many great friends. Even if they are all getting pregnant and forming the married with children club we still love and appreciate you.
